Trenbolone

Trenbolone in two esters, acetate and enanthate, both independently assayed above label.

What Trenbolone is

Trenbolone is a 19-nor derivative with very high androgen receptor binding affinity, and unlike almost every other compound in its potency class it is not a substrate for aromatase, so it does not convert to oestrogen at all. Its progestogenic activity and its interaction with prolactin are documented features of the 19-nor class rather than quirks of any particular preparation.

The detail

The two preparations differ only by ester. Acetate is the short one, on a roughly 1 to 2 day curve, and enanthate the long one at 5 to 7 days. Because trenbolone does not aromatise, the oestrogenic side of the picture that dominates discussion of testosterone is simply absent here, and the progestogenic side takes its place.

Common questions

Does trenbolone aromatise?

No. Trenbolone is not a substrate for aromatase, so it does not convert to oestrogen at all. That is unusual for a compound of its class and is one of the things that distinguishes it.

What is the difference between trenbolone acetate and enanthate?

The ester and the concentration. Acetate is supplied at 100 mg/ml on a 1 to 2 day curve; enanthate at 200 mg/ml on a 5 to 7 day curve. The trenbolone delivered is the same.

Why is prolactin mentioned in connection with trenbolone?

Because trenbolone is a 19-nor compound and progestogenic activity is a documented property of that class. It is a feature of the structure rather than of any particular product.

Does this page give dosing information for trenbolone?

No. This is a reference resource covering the compound, its esters, its measured content and its storage. It does not provide dosing protocols, cycle design or administration schedules.
